Music Man's Caprice Bass offers a different take on the classic bass guitar design. It has two passive Alnico humbuckers, with the one in the mid position being split. They deliver a robust sound to your amplifier without the annoying hum you sometimes get from single-coil pickups. This bass also has passive electronics. The inline and offset humbuckers have their own volume controls and share a tone knob, giving you a wide variety of tones suitable for a multitude of music styles including funk and rock.

Caprice Bass: modern, accurate and versatile

This modern interpretation of the versatile classic bass has a few other noteworthy features that shouldn't go unmentioned. These include the alder body that produces a powerful, full-range sound with a light punch and plenty of sustain. The maple neck is attached to the body using 5 bolts for extra stability. The narrow, tall frets on the 7.5-inch radius maple neck with satin gloss finish are a pleasure to play and offer accurate intonation too. Lastly, the Caprice Bass sports an oversized headstock with the familiar 3+1 machine head arrangement.
