The HT MK II series from Blackstar also includes this updated HT-1RH 2-channel tube guitar amp head with a power output of 1 watt. Each channel has 2 different voicings. The clean channel offers a tight American sound as well as a sparkling British sound with prominent mids. When switched to overdrive, you get resonant high-gain sounds in US mode, while the British sound is distinctively rich. The amp head itself may be small and reserved in terms of power, but it certainly makes up for these in the versatility it offers.

HT-1 Mk II: compact, with character and useful connections

With Blackstar's unique, patented ISF function, the sound can be sculpted to your preference and then rounded off with a touch of reverb to give it even more character. If you're a guitarist who travels a lot, the conveniently-sized HT-1 MkII is easily combined with one of the compact speaker cabinets from Blackstar's HT series. Recording can be done directly from the USB port, you can rehearse in silence by using the headphone socket and even play along to backing tracks by connecting a device to the external input.
