The Celebrity Elite series offers all of Ovation's characteristic features for a very reasonable price. The Ovation CE44-5 Celebrity Elite Black is an electro-acoustic western guitar with the famous Roundback body made of the synthetic composite Lyrachord, as well as a solid spruce top with a stylish black finish. The guitar also features the unmistakable collection of large and small upper bout sound holes.

The solid top of the CE44-5 Celebrity Elite Black ensures a rich, full-bodied and - thanks to the use of spruce - clear tone. This great sound is enhanced by the ingenious Roundback construction, which improves the projection of the instrument. The special upper bout sound holes add transparency to the trebles and make the bass tones sound more tight. The CE44-5 is a remarkably practical and comfortable instrument. The smooth neck of the guitar, for instance, offers no fewer than two full octaves of frets on the high E string. A built-in preamplifier with an incorporated tuner transmits a powerful signal to your mixer, which can be accurately adjusted using a 3-band EQ.
