Pioneer's DDJ-SX3 follows on from the highly-successful original and SX2 models. This version has even more features and connection possibilities and comes complete with Serato's new DJ Pro software. The SX3 has two USB ports that make it possible to connect two computers at the same time for seamless transitions, back-to-back performances or backups. There are now three microphone inputs with Mic FX on board which is great for DJs who like to add live elements like singing, rapping and beatboxing to their performances. It's also handy if you happen to be performing at an event that includes an MC or other speakers. The layout of the SX3 is very similar to the previous incarnation, but the mixer and player sections have been given an update in terms of the way they look.
DDJ SX3: Extensive Serato Controller
The DDJ-SX3 comes complete with Serato's new DJ Pro software that replaces Serato DJ which doesn't work with this DJ controller. You also get Flip that enables you to make hot cues and samples quickly and easily as well as Pitch 'n Time that lets you mix harmonically so that each track has the same pitch without you having to adjust the tempo. All of this can be controlled using the sixteen performance pads that can also be used to controls other things like effects, cues, samples and slices. Those familiar with Pioneer's other DJ controllers will have no trouble getting started with the DDJ-SX3.
