Numark's new Mixtrack Platinum DJ Controller brings the Mixtrack more in line with the NVII flagship model. Each of the jog wheels features its own 1.75-inch LCD display that shows you information including track time, music key, pitch value and BPM. Having the displays on the jog wheels means that you can focus on the controller and your performance rather than having to check all the information on your laptop. Serato DJ Intro software is included so that you can get started right away.

Sensitive Controls

The Mixtrack Platinum is a controller that's smart enough to learn from you! It has touch-capacitive jog wheels that learn to react to your touch, whether that's light or heavy-handed. There's a two-channel mixer on board but it's possible to control up to four decks at the same time and easy to switch between them using the large buttons to do so. The mixer has all the functionality you'd expect including a 3-band EQ, gain control, 50 mm faders, a crossfader and filter knobs.

Connectors and software

In terms of inputs and outputs, you'll find a USB port and an RCA output on the rear, and two headphone sockets (1x jack, 1x mini jack), as well as a jack input for a mic on the front. Per deck, there are eight performance pads, a 100mm pitch fader, and a strip that can be used for your needle drop or three different effects. Prime Loops sample software is included so that you can add awesome effects your tracks. You'll also get access to the Toolroom Records catalogue where you can download records in the Stems format! This controller is comprehensive and versatile but still won't break the bank!
