This bundle consists of the Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol S8 DJ controller and a flight case by ProDJuser that you can use to protect it while you're transporting it from A to B. You don't even have to take the controller out of the case when you want to use it, so setting everything up is as quick and easy as possible! The case even has a special platform that you can place your laptop or tablet on. The Traktor Kontrol S8 is a 4-deck controller with two colour displays and 16 pads for operating the remix decks and more. Traktor Scratch Pro 2 software is included too that allows you to use the controller with turntables and time-code vinyl.

Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol S8: colour displays

The Kontrol S8 has two full-colour displays with practical features such as browse view, beatgrid view, FX panel, remix view, freeze view and various performance panels that provide you with all the information you need, just like your software would. These pop-up displays give you visual feedback and tell you what you need to know when you're adjusting the BPM rate or applying filters, for instance. As all the software information can be viewed on the displays, you can keep your laptop out of sight, which not only enhances your interaction with your audience, but also allows for a more intuitive workflow.

Touch strip and pads

The touch strip on the Traktor Kontrol S8 plays an important role, as it enables you to accurately determine track position, apply needle drops, control pitch bend, change effect parameters and more. Combined with a range of touch-sensitive knobs, the touchstrip opens up a world of creative possibilities - think of loop rolls and one-finger filter control, for example. Each of controller's decks are capable of controlling two decks in your Traktor DJ software, and you can use the eight pads to trigger samples, effects and your own loops, or even create and trigger cues.
