The Sabian B8 line of cymbals is known world-wide as one of the best series of affordable cymbals. All cymbals in this line are made of B8 bronze (hence the name), and the combination of quality materials and attention to detail makes B8 cymbals a great choice for both beginners and advanced drummers on a budget.
Figuring out what this 16-inch Thin Crash sounds like is quite easy - it's all in the name! It's a thin crash with the bright, focused sound that the B8 family of cymbals is known for, but its slight weight and thin profile make this crash a little different from its heavier cousins. It is a bit more subtle and has a nice wash and a less cutting attack, while still providing a nice, sparkling crash with a rapid decay. Finally, it has a traditional finish, which means this B8 Thin Crash has a slightly less bright sound than its B8 Pro counterpart.
